Waring for Ice Fishing
As
of the 1st of February there isn't enough ice on the lake to make it
safe for fishing. We strongly recommend that you contact us
(315-623-9436) for an update before heading out to go ice fishing.
Members of the EMS services are advising against venturing out onto the
ice, and many of the "old hat" ice fishermen are saying the same thing.

and wonderful food selections, we are excited about having Creekside
Cafe as a great place for your dinning pleasure.

While there is some work to be done before the move, we hope they will be able to move in at the beginning of 2012.
Focusing on Winter
Winter
is coming soon here in New York State. Many of our customers enjoy
snowmobile riding and ice fishing during the winter, and we thought it
would be a good idea to remind everyone of the advantages of having
your snowmobile at SGM for ice fishing on Oneida Lake. It can save you
having to load and unload your equipment giving you more time to enjoy
fishing. When you're going out, you can let our staff know how long you
plan to be and what area you will be on the lake. Should you run into
trouble, you can simply use your cell phone to call us, or if you're
not back on time we can call you to remind you of the time or call for
help.
Before going out its also a good idea to check with us
about the conditions of the ice on the lake. We often have other ice
fishers give us reports on what they are finding when they go out, and
that helps us keep you informed and safer.

Boat storage is almost complete
Once
again it's time for us to put the boats in storage for the winter. We
are asking anyone who is going to store their boat with us to have it
ready and to us by October 29th so we can get all the boats settled in
and close up the building. If you have any questions or problems with

Summer is coming to an end already!
It
seems that it was a couple of days ago that we were taking the boats
out of storage, but now it's time to start thinking about storing them
again. As a reminder, Spruce Grove Marina provides storage for boats
and winterization of boats and RVs to help protect them from the cold
